Hi, welcome to Quoox University.
In this video, I’m gonna show you how to create a session, and what each different session name means, so that when you go to creating your schedule, you’ll know what you’re about to book in.
So, we’re gonna start by going to my.quoox.com. We’re gonna log in to our Quoox platform. And then we’re gonna go over to the left-hand side menu, down to Settings, and then a new menu will appear, and we’re going to go into Sessions and Events.
So what I’m gonna do is talk you through the different types of sessions, and then in a follow-on video, we’ll go through to booking that session and creating a schedule.
First off you have your “Session”. This is essentially equivalent to booking a class or scheduling a class. So it might be your Monday morning hiit, your Friday evening spin. That’s what you’d use the Sessions for.
You have “Consultation”, this is a backend booking that is always private unless shared with a member, and you may use this for a nutrition check-in, a PT Session, maybe a one-on-one, sports massage if you offer it. Everything and anything that you think would be classed as consultation for your facility, you can use this option here.
Then we have “Marketing”. Marketing is essentially for leads only. You’ll see in the Quoox University there’s another video to go through how you generate leads, when using our campaigns. But essentially this would be used for any new or prospective member that may have booked a class or a promotional offering that you’ve given throughout that campaign, to get them on board. They’ll only see that once they’ve booked on, it’s not available to existing members, it won’t show up in their calendar. So this is just for if a lead registers and they book into a free trial class, for example.
Then you have a “Course”. This is great if you’re looking at hosting maybe a weekend long boot camp, maybe you’ve got a couple of seminars coming up and you wanna get people to book on for a weekend long seminar around fitness, nutrition, general health, and wellbeing. So you can use that for maybe more long-winded sessions.
And then you have the “Popup” option. This is essentially for anything that is more of a one-off. Again, maybe it’s a guest fitness instructor coming to do a bootcamp on a Friday evening, or Saturday morning. Any kind of popup event, you can use that option.
As mentioned, the Consultation and the Marketing won’t show up in your existing members’ calendars, but they can filter to Sessions, Courses and Popups, both in the app and the Fitness Hub, to see what’s upcoming. And it’s all manageable through both the Quoox app and the Fitness Hub for the members.
And in the next video, I’ll show you how you can create the session, and then how you can manage your schedule in the most efficient way.
