Hi guys, welcome to Quoox University.
In this video, I’m gonna show you how to create a membership. So we’re gonna start off by gonna my.quoox.com as always. And we’re gonna log into our platform, confirm we’re not a robot and that’s gonna take us to our main dashboard.
Once we’re in our main dashboard, we’re gonna go straight over to our menu on the left-hand side, we’re gonna click into Settings and that’s gonna bring up our secondary menu and we’re gonna go straight into “Membership Plans”.
What you’ll see here, as I’ve got a demo account, is that I’ve got some example memberships. So as and when you add your memberships, they’ll all show in this list here. For the sake of the video, we’re gonna add a new membership.
Now, as I mentioned, if you’ve seen the video of creating credit packs, it’s really good to make sure that you give the membership name something that means that you’ll know exactly what it’s for, and maybe associates itself with the credit packs and payment plans that you’re gonna create for it. Makes life much easier when it comes to putting everything together. But for the sake of this video, let’s call our membership “8 sessions a month”.
I would recommend giving as much description as you can, because this is gonna go out to your customers. So you wanna make it as clear and concise as possible, so they know exactly what membership they are signing up for and what they get for it.
For the sake of this demonstration, I’m just going to put that we’re getting eight sessions a month, let’s say all classes, and gym and pool, for example. We know that it’s a membership and we can select when this membership will start. So you have to fill this in, but you have options. So you can either select immediate, upon their first booking, first of the next month, or on a specified date. So all of these will come up for you when you’re creating a membership. It’s up to you which one you pick. For the sake of today’s demo, I’m gonna select immediate.
What you’ll see underneath is that you also have different tick boxes to select through. You’ve got “provides unlimited session access”, “is a trial membership”, is “limited to one per member”, or “is private”.
On the most part, they’re quite self-explanatory, but for providing unlimited session access it’s worth noting that if you’ve watched the video on creating a session, essentially, it’s very similar to creating your classes or is creating your classes and that’s what’s added to your schedule, but this would also include unlimited access to any session that you’ve created. So that includes consultations, courses, pop ups. So that might be your one-on-ones, your nutrition meetings. It could be PT sessions that aren’t included necessarily with the pack. So it’s worth noting before you tick this box that you’re happy or make sure that you’re happy that they are truly to have access to any session based on this membership. For this demo, I’m gonna untick the box and normally leave it unticked.
And then you have a trial membership. So maybe you’ve had a promotion running on your social accounts, and they’ve joined up for a free trial for 30 days. You can select that that’s the case.
Is private means that it won’t show up to members to select. It may be that you invite a specific group of people to join this membership and it’s private until they’ve been sent it. And then you have is limited to one per member. Essentially that means that each individual member can only have one of the “8 sessions a month” memberships attributed to their account. Hopefully that all makes sense.
So what we’re gonna do is once we’ve selected the settings that we want for this membership plan, we’re gonna click “save”. You’ll see that that’s been successfully created.
There are some other attributions to the membership now that we can add at a later date and in a separate video, but for now, we’re gonna return to the listing and we can see that we’ve added our “8 sessions a month” membership to our membership plans.
That’s how easy it is to add a membership plan. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via support, and I’ll see you on the next video.
