Myzone Challenges are a great way to motivate members. It is possible for you to optionally make your Myzone challenge leader boards visible to your members as part of FitnessHub. This is separate and in addition to the full Myzone facility leader board, which is for all MEPs attained (not just for a given challenge).
FitnessHub will show the entire leader board listing for all members who have registered a score (I.e. not restricted to 10 or 20 entries).
Enabling your Myzone Challenges page
The challenges page requires the Myzone facilities API key. Instructions of how to set this up can be found here.
Once the Myzone API key is configured, your challenges page will be enabled and can be accessed at [[YOUR FITNESSHUB URL]]/leaderboard/challenges/
It is possible to deep link to a particular leader board by grabbing the URL and using this as your link. The link will remain valid as long as the challenge is available in Myzone Moves.
Additionally, you may add a “Myzone Challenges” menu item to the FitnessHub “My FitFile” menu. To do this, tick the Include “Myzone Challenges” in My FitFile menu checkbox with the “leaderboards” section of the FitnessHub settings page (Settings > FitnessHub Microsite).
Viewing a challenge leader board
If you have enabled the menu link, you may access the challenge listing from the My FitFile menu. Alternatively, visit the URL [[YOUR FITNESSHUB URL]]/leaderboard/challenges/
The challenge listing will list all Myzone challenges that:
- are current, and
- start in the 3 days, and/or
- finished in the last 7 days
Clicking on a given challenge will take you to the challenge leader board.
Important:
- Where Quoox can link a Myzone record to a member in your system, the Quoox “known as” name will be used. The fall-backs will the Quoox first name and last name initial, and then the Myzone name details.
- At the time of writing, Myzone only provides single member leader board data. This is perfect for individual challenges but, for group challenges, the leader board shows individual achievements. In this circumstance, Myzone’s own leader board should be consulted for the group rankings. This group data is not presently available to Quoox.
