Hi, welcome to Quoox University.
In this course of videos we’re covering FAQ’s. And another one that we have is how to create a reminder. So I’m gonna show you how to do that today.
So we’re going to start by going to my.quoox.com as always. And then we’re going to log in with our details, confirm we’re not a robot and sign into our main dashboard. Now the beauty of setting a reminder is that it’s quick and easy. And if it’s a reminder, you need to jot down quickly, it’s nice and easy because it’s straight in the dashboard.
So what you’ll see here on the top right-hand side of your dashboard is assignments and to do tasks, You’ll see here that we already have a reminder for someone’s payment details, and that’s pretty important. So you can see your reminders straight away.
To add a new one, we’re going to click on the green bell. We then have a pop-up window that comes up and you can see that you can have a title, what time you’re reminding either a member, an assignee at, and then you can put what actions are required.
You can also mark whether it’s important or suppress roll call alert, if applicable.
So let’s say for example, this is to take a cash payment from a member because their direct debit has been cancelled or they’ve changed bank accounts for example. We know that members coming in today. So we’re going to put that in for today. And we’re going to put the time in for one o’clock cause they’re coming for the lunchtime class, let’s say. Then we can link it to a member. so we can link it to Ollie because we know that’s who we need to take the cash from. And I know that Jess is going to be in at one o’clock cause that’s her class. So I’m going to assign Jess the task or the reminder.
And then I’m going to say, take cash payment, direct debit failed due to change of account will be reset for next month. Just give some context as to why, and then you can mark that as important because it’s a cash payment that needs to be taken and you can click save.
What you’ll see then is it’s refreshed and you can click to view all your tasks and you’ll see that they’re in the list of assignments and reminders. So you’ve got to take cash payment, a reminder of your payment details. And there’s another one to reset the system on the welcome iPad as well. Okay, so now we’ve got our list of reminders.
We can go back to the dashboard. If you know, for example that the payment details have been collected for said member, which is again, marked as important and was due on the 22nd. And it was assigned to Jess.
You can either view the details and click in progress or complete from here, or you can do it straight from the dropdown tab and mark as completed within the widget. And you’ll see there that you don’t have any further pending assignments.
You can refresh your dashboard just to make sure that it’s gone. And then you’ve basically completed all your reminders and tasks.
If you have any further questions on how to create or manage reminders, don’t hesitate to get in touch or check out support.quoox.com. I look forward to seeing you on the next video. Thanks.
