Hi, guys, welcome to Quoox University.
In this video, I’m gonna show you how to create a credit pack. So we’re gonna start as always, by going to my.quoox.com.
We’re gonna log into our main dashboard on the Quoox portal. Click that you’re not a robot. And that’s gonna take us to our main dashboard page and we’re gonna come over to the left-hand side menu.
We’re gonna drop down to “Settings” and that’s gonna bring us to our secondary menu, and we’re gonna click into “Credit Packs” right at the top.
So you’ll see here that I’ve got a couple of examples, but we’re gonna go through the process together now.
So we’re gonna add a new credit pack. We’re gonna name it so it’s relative to what the customers are getting.
It’s really important that you do this, because if you start creating a large number of credit packs, it will make life a lot easier to assign them to the right memberships and payment plans. So for this example, let’s go for 8x sessions per month.
So we’re going to note down that they’re gonna get 8 credits. Normally, these credit packs are distributed to a membership plan, so you’re not gonna have a cost associated with it because it’s already covered by the payment for the membership.
So we’re gonna put zero for the purchase cost and zero for the tax included. You can select from the dropdown whether you want the credits to become valid immediately or from their first use or first booking. I’m going to leave it as immediate.
And then how long they’re valid for. So if they’re getting these sessions per month, then we’d recommend selecting a setting that fits you guys best really. It depends on how you’re setting those up. But for argument’s sake, let’s say we’re using a “fixed period” and you’ll see here that you can then select the duration, and we’ve put that if it’s a fixed period, specify that. So I would put 31 days as that covers all the calendar months in the year and it means that there won’t be any months where they have a few days of no credit, so they can’t make a booking. But again, this is up to you, so just be sure to go through the steps.
Which sessions are the credits valid for and which venues? If you’re a single venue, you can just select valid for any venue. Maybe you have multiple venues and different memberships are attributed to different venues. You can select which one this would be attributed to and the same for sessions.
So if you’ve watched the sessions training video, you’ll see that that normally coincides with your classes on your schedule, for example. If you’ve only got a few, you might select that it’s valid for any session. I’ve only got two on my system at the moment, so I’m gonna say that they can book in on either. However, you can make it so that it’s valid for only specific sessions, and again, that’s up to you.
Once we created the credit pack and we’ve selected our information and what we want to be valid for, we’re gonna click save. And you’ll see that that’s been added to our list of credit packs in the list.
If you have any other questions on how to create credit pack, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, otherwise I’ll see you on the next video. Thanks!
