Hi guys, welcome to Quoox University.
So in this video, I’m gonna show you how to set up your branding in the platform so that your app and emails, et cetera, can be as branded as I am in this video.
So we’re gonna start by going to my.quoox.com, . And we’re gonna log in with our business name, email and password as always, tick that you’re not a robot, and we’re gonna go straight to our dashboard.
So to set up the branding, we’re gonna click on the toggle on the left-hand side to open up our menu, and we’re gonna go back down to “Settings”. It brings up our secondary list and we’re gonna go near the bottom and click on “Branding”.
It’s a very straightforward page. It’s not much to change, but it makes a very big difference to your app, immersive emails, main pages. So I’d highly recommend taking the time to do this properly.
But what you’ll see here is your branding colour selection. So, you want to select your link colour, your primary colour and your secondary colour. And then below, that we’ll go through in a minute, you can see for your mobile app that you can actually select your primary colour for light mode and dark mode, which is really good that you can have those options ’cause sometimes colours don’t look great in both.
So let me show you an example of what this looks like. So you can see the email layout preview. Here is our link colour that we’ve selected. And then you’ve got your primary and secondary colour in terms of the text.
When you create immersive emails, which we have another video on, you’ll be able to see how you can highlight, edit, and make that a much more colourful, more branded, picture-full email. So we’ll go through that in another video.
Here, we have the dashboard page title. Make sure you put what you want here, because this will come up at the top of your app and it will be quite big. So make sure you’re happy with what it is. It can either be Jessie PT GYM. It could be My App Dashboard, whatever you want you can put it in there, just make it stand out.
Keep the FitFile style to default, you don’t need to change that.
And then we go into the primary and secondary colours. This will be for the text for the dashboard page title. You can add your own colours here. So if you know your branding colour’s hex, for example, this is ours, so you can put that in and it will change it to that for you, which is great. If you’re not really sure or you’re quite happy and you use standard colours, then please feel free to click through the colour chart or add the information and make your own one here. And then you could save your own hex if you create a new one.
Same with the secondary colour, and you’ll see an example if it changes. So, if we change the colours about, you can see what that looks like in real-time, before you make any changes and saves. Same for your dark primary colours, you might want them to be the same, they might look good in dark mode. Worth double-checking. What you’ll see at the top is that your changes take about 15 minutes maximum to take effect. So if you’re pre-launch, it might be worth trialling a couple of colours to see how they look on your mobile app if you have the time, otherwise just select your colours as you normally would.
For the About Us page content, don’t feel like you have to rewrite something you’ve already done, maybe copy and paste from your website, but it’s definitely worth having something here because it will show up on the app and the FitnessHub pages. So be sure to give as much information and a welcome message as you can.
And once you’ve done everything you need to do in here, you can click Save, and that’s done for you.
It takes you back to your system settings. If you have any questions, as always, you can get through to support and raise a ticket. Otherwise, I’ll speak to you soon.
