We regularly release updates to the Quoox mobile app. These may be new functions, enhancements to existing functions, or simply bug-fixes or minor improvements.
It is possible to see the current version of the app that you are running, by selecting About Quoox from the top-bar hamburger menu ( ), and then scrolling to the bottom of the page.
Whilst both the iOS and Android apps are usually in sync in terms of major and minor version numbers, the build number may differ.
Version Schema
We use a standard 3-part software numbering scheme to number our app versions.
An example app version would be 2.3.12, and is made up of [major version].[minor version].[build number].
The major version number is raised every time we make a major update to the app, or several minor numbers that add up to some significance.
The minor version number is raised every time we introduce a new piece of functionality, or materially change/enhance existing functions.
The build version is raised for every release, and would typically indicate a bug-fix or minor tweak.
The history of major/minor revisions is listed below. Build version adjustments are simply bug fixes or performance improvements, and not listed here.
