Hi and welcome to today’s video.
What we’re going to be going through today in this video is going to be Quikpay links, how to use them within the Quoox system. And at the end of this I’ll also show you a trigger that you can use with the Quikpay links so that they work together.
So first of all, we’re gonna show you how to create a new category for your Quikpay links. So we’re gonna need to go over to our left hand side menu here and we’re gonna click onto settings. Now, from settings, we’re gonna want to go into lists and groups and we’re gonna want to locate our Quikpay categories that we can see here. And we’re gonna click the edit pencil.
Now from here we’re gonna click the green add button, and this is where we can create our new category. So for the purposes of this demonstration, I’m gonna create one called Easter Games Day, and I’m gonna save that. So I’ve now created my category for my Quikpay payment link.
What I want to do now is create actual payment link itself. So you should still see your setting Submenu here. And what you’re going to want to do is quick is click on Quikpay payment links, And we’re gonna click the green add button here.
So now we know this is for our Easter Games Day bebecause that was the category we created. So we’re gonna keep the title end of the description the same. And in our category we’re gonna select the one that we newly created Easter game today. And in our amount here, we’re just going to put how much we’d like to charge each person, each person for a spot on the day. So we’re just gonna charge 10 pounds and we’re gonna press save here.
So what this has done is this has now generated us with a Quikpay payment link and also a merge field that we could potentially use if we wish to send it that way. We’re gonna use the green clipboard here next to our link. Now what we can do from this is we could go into our message centre or we could create a scheduled broadcast to send out. But just for the purposes of this demonstration, I’m just gonna go into the message centre here. And from new message I’m gonna select new email message.
And in two, I’m gonna put all members, because I’ve got a group created for all of my members in our subject Easter Games Day. And we can include the relevant content in that email and also paste in our link like so, so that anyone that visits that link, we prompted to pay 10 pounds that are it to be able to secure their place onto the Easter Games Day.
So the next thing we’re going to be looking at is, because that was looking at how to send out a Quikpay link in bulk, we’re now going to look at how to send it to a individual user. So the first thing we’re gonna want to do, we’re gonna go to manage. We’re gonna select members here. And for the purposes of this example, I’m gonna use Aaron Aaronson here and double click onto him.
So we’ve got our actions dropdown up in the top right next to refresh. So we’re gonna click actions, we’re gonna click Send Quikpay payment link. And now from our drop down here, we can select our Easter Games day that we created. And we can also assign a category to it. It puts Easter Games Day, it has a description of Easter Games Day, secure your spot. And we’ve also got a message here that will be sent to Aaron.
Now this message does pre-fill for you and it does include the relevant merge fields that you will need. So they’ll be able to see all of the information. You can also opt to send this by SMS By email as well. And you can send it by both. It’s entirely up to yourself, but you could send that link. Aaron would then get a personalised link with his name included as we can see here from the message. And you would also see that reflected in your payment transactions report when you do look to pull that.
So that would be how you can send that to members in bulk, how you can send that to someone individually as well. Now let’s take this a step further and let’s say for example, we’ve got an agreement with Alan that we are only going to charge him five pounds due to an error that we previously made. So in our amount here, we can just put five pounds and we can send that link and it will ensure that Aaron is only prompted four or five pounds to book his spot onto the Easter Games Day. I’m just gonna press cancel there just so we don’t accidentally send anything out.
So to take these links a step further, we’ve created a trigger in the system that you can utilise. So to get to that trigger, we’re gonna want to go to manage, we’re gonna select event triggers here and from our dropdown we’re gonna select general payment links, payment link completed, and add trigger.
Now we only want to be notified when our Easter Games Day payment link has been paid by someone. So we’re just gonna select our Easter Games Day. If you wanted this to occur for all of them, don’t tick any, leave it blank and it will include all, we’re gonna put Easter Games Day link, paid
Easter Games Day Link paid. Again, just keeping this so it’s easily recognisable and we know what it is and what it’s doing and what it’s function is for us in the system. We’re gonna press save. So we’ve selected our Easter Games Day for whenever that link gets paid.
Now what event action do we want to occur in the system? So we want a system alert to occur. So I’m gonna scroll down to the bottom here, lemme just find it just ‘because we have quite a lot of options here. There it is. Raise a system alert, add action. We can create alert level for that if we wish to do so. And then we can include the relevant information here. You can also use Merge Fields if you wish to do so.
It helps if I could type 10 pounds in instead of 19. Member has paid 10 pounds For Easter Games Day. We can see we’ve got this suspended. We want to make sure that is active and we can press save so
we know that this is active. If we go back to our configuration here, we also need to make sure that this is active as well. And press save so that, so that our trigger is now in place and a system notification will be raised whenever someone pays through our Quikpay payment link for our Easter Games day.
So that is absolutely everything for utilising Quikpay payment links and also using the trigger that we’ve specifically designed to run alongside it as well. I hope that’s been helpful.
