A consultation would typically be an ad-hoc one-on-one or small group session. Examples of a typical consultation session would include:
- An on-boarding/welcome meeting
- A rehabilitation session
- A sports massage session
- A progress review session
Consultations are setup exactly the same way as you would any other session, from within the Sessions/Classes functionality found in the Settings menu. For best results, and to provide your members with useful information in their app, you would ideally create a different consultation session for each type of consultation (E.g. massage; review meeting; rehabilitation session etc.)
Important: Consultations sessions cannot be booked via the member app. This is deliberate. Members can only be booked onto consultations by staff and managers. However, once booked, the booked member(s) will then see the consultation in their app. If they are unable to attend, they can cancel as per any other session.
With the above exception, consultation sessions behave exactly as per sessions, courses and popups.
