Now, what you’ll see here is you’ve got Assignment Groups.
Don’t be confused by Employee Roles. This is different roles undertaken by employees, and that would allow you to select in a dropdown of what their job role is.
So it might be PT, Trainer, Senior PT, anything like that. But Assignment Groups is where you’d go for anything sort of employee related.
So if you click on the pencil in here, you’ll see that you’ve got different groups. So you’ve got the Administration Team, you’ve got Ben, got his own group, special! And Qualified Trainers. It might be that you have guest PTs that come to the gym. It might be that you have guest trainers that do specific classes like Spin, or Pump, or whatever it is that you might host at your facility.
So you can add a new group. To add an employee to a group, you go back to your main menu, back to Manage, and then you click into Employees.
Let’s go into Justin Credible because I love his name, and then what you’ll see behind my floating head is Assignment Groups.
Now, you can add an employee to one or more. So it may be that they’re relevant to a couple of different groups depending on any crossover you might have. But we’ll see here that we’ve got the three that we saw originally and my new Guest PT group.
I can tick that Justin is actually a Guest PT that comes every so often, and I’m gonna save that group selection. Again, there may be a number of reasons why you might want to send a message or assign a task to Guest PTs. It might be that in your dashboard you want to set an assignment or to-do task, and you can now create that, and assign it to a specific employee, and they’ll be able to see that within their dashboard.
I hope that all makes sense. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch or check out my other videos at support.quoox.com.
