To configure FitnessHub, select FitnessHub Microsite from the main Settings menu.
Your FitnessHub address
All FitnessHub URLs are suffixed with fitnesshub.net. The prefix varies per client, and is determined during your original Quoox sign-up. For ease of memory, and for the convenience of your members, the prefix is the same as your Quoox email address.
Your dedicated Quoox FitnessHub URL is provided at the top of the settings page. It will be of the format https://[yourprefix].fitnesshub.net/
We’ve also provided the functionality to shorten and prettify your links – Custom URLS – Shorten and prettify your links
Pages & Content
This section provides a button which, when clicked, will take you through to the pages listing. It is here that you can administer the content of certain system pages, as well as add your own custom pages to FitnessHub. Learn more…
Branding
FitnessHub has been designed on a tried-and-tested framework known to be intuitive, and user-friendly. The base colours are white and black, making it that it should be suitable for all brands. Clients may choose the four customisation colours, with the primary colour being the most prevalent in the design.
Note: When selecting colours, it is very important that they work both on a white and black background. You should therefore avoid very light and very dark colours. If your brand happens to be either black or white, we suggest selecting a mid-grey.
By default, Quoox will use the company logo you uploaded to the main settings page. However, you may upload an alternative specifically for use on the FitnessHub site.
For best results, PNG images with a transparent background should be used. Quoox will resize these accordingly. The final logo image will be a maximum height of 48 pixels, and a maximum width of 350 pixels. Please contact the support team if you require guidance with achieving the best presentation of your logo.
The browser icon should be square. It will be converted into several different sizes and embedded in your FitnessHub site for use by the various different browsers. Quoox will automatically generate support files, such as the Android manifest and the iOS touch-icon.
Note: The iOS touch icon will always be created with a white background. Other favicons will have a transparent background.
Social Media
You may optionally enter the URLs for your Facebook; Twitter; and Instagram pages. If you provide these links, FitnessHub will display corresponding icons in the header bar, providing your members with easy access to your social media pages.
Tracking
If you wish, you may provide a Google Analytics ID and/or Facebook pixel ID. Quoox will add these to each page in your FitnessHub site, enabling you to track usage and to re-market to those who visited your site.
The Facebook pixel is issued as a “pageview” event.
Facebook Domain Validation
As of Q2 2021, Facebook requires that your FitnessHub domain be “verified” for the correct functioning of Facebook tracking pixels.
To add the Facebook verification code to your FitnessHub site, add the highlighted part of the Facebook meta tag into the Facebook Validation box.
<meta name=”facebook-domain-verification” content=”xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo” />
Compliance
Within the compliance section, you should ideally provide a link to your online privacy policy. This is a legal requirement in many countries.
If you do not yet have an online privacy policy, it is easy to create a custom page within FitnessHub in which you can provide the content. Create the page, and then paste the URL into this box.
Enquiries & Registrations
The FitnessHub structure contains the options for “Enquiries” and “Member Sign-Up” links in the top-left hand corner of the page. Configuration options are available for both.
For Enquiries, you have the options of:
- Do not display the link
- Use the built-in FitnessHub contact form, for which enquiries are sent to your Message Centre
- Use any of the campaigns that you have setup, for example: a lead capture campaign
For Member Sign-Up, you have the options of:
- Do not display the link
- Use the built-in FitnessHub sign-up for, which captures basic contact information
- Do not display the link, but still make the sign-up form available at /join/
- Use any of the campaigns that you have setup, for example: a membership sign-up campaign
Store Options
This section is where you can determine which elements of the store section of FitnessHub (if any) are made available to members. By default the store options are turned off.
Enable Credit sales in store
Ticking this box will make available the credit purchase area of the store, where members may purchase ad hoc/top-up credits. The credit packs made available will be those that you don’t have marked as “is private”.
Members may purchase as many credit packs as they wish, selecting a start date within 1-month of the purchase date. Consideration should be given to the expiry date of credit packs you sell directly, and we strongly recommend not using the end-of-month expiry option.
Enable Membership sales in store
Ticking this box will make available the membership packages area of the store, where members may purchase memberships that are in addition to any memberships they might have. The memberships made available will be those that you don’t have marked as “is private”.
Members may select a start date within 1-month of the purchase date. Where a member adds a membership to their basket for which they are not eligible (E.g. a trial membership, or one per member) these will be removed from the basket and the member advised at the moment the member’s identity is determined.
Product store
Several store options are available:
- None
Do not display a product store - Quoox Store
Use the in-build Quoox store to promote those inventory products you do not have marked as “is private” - Link to 3rd party URL
If you already have a merchandise store setup with a 3rd party, you can link FitnessHub to that store - Embedded 3rd party plugin
If your 3rd party store product allows for the embedding in a different website, you may edit the store page to embed your store content.
MyZone Belt Store
If you have set your MyZone store voucher code in the Store section of the main settings, this will trigger the display of the MyZone Belt Store link, taking your members directly to the MyZone store with the belt code already pre-configured.
