Hi, welcome to Quoox University.
In this video, I’m gonna show you how you can create a online session and link it to Zoom if you’re still hosting online sessions.
So let’s go to our main dashboard at my.quoox.com. We’re gonna log in. And then what we’re going to do is essentially follow the same steps to create a normal session, but I’m gonna show you how you can link it to Zoom. And what that means essentially when someone books on and how it works.
Chapter 1: Creating A Session
So we’re gonna go to the main menu on the left-hand side, into Settings, and Sessions and Events.
Now, because you all have probably watched my creating a session video, you don’t need me to show you how to do everything. So what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna go into an existing online hit session that I created before.
And what you’ll see is I’ve got a schedule available.
Now, I’ve already done this, but I’m gonna walk you through the steps.
So we’re gonna click Add on the top left.
We’re gonna call this weekends at 10:00 AM.
Chapter 2: Setting Up The Session
Now, this is where the difference comes in, okay.
So when you select the venue, you’ve got the option to select Online.
So click Online and then which area.
The dropdown will change to what you’re used to. So this is actually your Zoom areas.
I’ve got another video on how you connect Zoom to your account. So go ahead and watch that one if you haven’t done that already, but essentially, this will allow you to select which member or Zoom account you’re using to host the session.
- So I’m gonna click Zoom Coach 1.
- And because it’s online, I can have a capacity much higher than 10. So I’m gonna put 50.
- And actually, I know that on the weekends, it’s always done by Justin Credible, my favourite person. So on a weekly basis, every Saturday and Sunday, and it recurs every one week.
- I’m gonna put it that it starts at 10 o’clock.
- And it’s gonna start from this Saturday.
- And it’s a 30-minute session.
You then got your standard other options as to:
How much it cost per member. Is it a credit?
If there’s a purchase cost allowed?
If you allow Pay-As-You-Go customers?
If you’re not sure what all of that means, please go ahead and watch my video on how to create a session ’cause that will cover off everything in a bit more detail, but for now, we’re gonna click Save.
Chapter 3: Recap
So what we’ve done is we’ve now added two online sessions to our schedule for our online hit class that we’re still doing every day, okay.
So to show you what this looks like, we’re now gonna go and look at our schedule.
So we’re gonna go to the main menu and click into the schedule.
And we’re gonna go to Monday’s occurrence at nine o’clock. And you can see here that you’ve got your online hit.
Now, next to it, we’ve got our nice video, which basically highlights that it’s an online session.
You can then see, similar to what you would for Industrial Strength, for any other session you’ve set up for your gym venue, that it says that it’s online and who’s gonna be hosting it.
Chapter 4: Session Creation In Zoom & Zoom I.D’s
So if I click into here, what you’ll see is under the name, and the capacity, and RoboNudge reminders that there has not, it’s not been created in Zoom yet.
Now, the reason for this is because if it creates it straight away and then nobody is signed up for example, you’re creating sessions for no reason. And it becomes complicated.
So what will happen is if you book a member or if a member books themselves, you can add the member to the attendee list.
We’ll say that it’s complimentary just because of the sake of the demo. Now, again, if this doesn’t look familiar to you, you can watch my video on how you can book a member onto sessions on their behalf as well. So I’ve covered all bases here, guys. But for the sake of this demo, we’re gonna just have a quick look at how this works.
Now, what you’ll see is because we’ve added a member underneath our online hit title, there’s now a Zoom ID.
And each member will get their own unique Zoom link to log into. And that will become available 15 minutes before the session.
And for PTs or whoever is running the training session, it will become available 30 minutes before.
Chapter 5: Conclusion
So we’ve covered off how you create an online or Zoom session and how you add that to your schedule.
We’ve now seen how the process works in terms of giving a member a link once they’ve been added to the session.
Now that is essentially as easy as it gets. It works now the same way as a session would work.
You’ve got your standard RoboNudges, the capacity, your members can book on as normal. So they’ll be able to see that in their schedule as well.
And then you can run roll call from an online perspective if you wanted to as the trainer using the system as you normally would.
So nothing else is really that different.
So hopefully that’s answered your questions around how you create an online session with using Zoom.
If you have any other questions though, don’t hesitate to get in touch or check out my other videos to cover some of the other areas from this video @support.quoox.com.
