Hi, and welcome to Quoox University.
In this video, we’re going to be going over how to create a credit pack for a monthly membership.
So, first of all, what we’ll need to do is go to our left-hand side menu and select Settings. And then from Settings, we’re gonna go into credit packs.
We can use our green button up here to add a new one, and we’re gonna give our credit pack a name that’s easily recognisable to us. So we’re gonna call this our Credits Credit Pack Open Gym & Sessions. That lets us know what it’s for, how many credits we’re gonna allocate to the credit pack, and what sessions they should be able to attend with that credit pack.
So in our credits issued box here, as we said, we’re gonna call it our Credits Credit Pack. So we’re gonna issue credits, and we’re gonna include a regular cost. So our regular cost is gonna be if this was purchased on an ad hoc basis by someone without a membership. So we’re gonna put a cost in there, If this was purchased on an ad hoc basis by someone with a membership, we’re gonna charge them and we’re gonna include our tax as well.
Now, when do we want these credits to become valid? We’ve got an option here of immediate, or upon first use. For this example, I’m gonna select immediate so that they get those credits instantly upon purchase. How long do we want the credits to be valid for? We’re gonna select a fixed period, and we’re gonna select days. By selecting days, we ensure that every single month is covered, and that there’s not potentially a month where they’re unable to use credits and book onto sessions.
Now, which sessions do we want these credits to be valid for? So we said we’ve got open gym and sessions, so we’re just gonna select All. And we want this to be available for all of our venues, So we’re gonna select All here, and we’re gonna press Save. So what we’ve done there is we’ve created a Credits Credit Pack for Open Gym & Sessions. It’s credits, it costs more if you are a non-member purchasing this. Or if you are a member, it’s less.
What we’re going to do now that we’ve created the credit pack is we’re gonna go into membership plans, and we’re gonna select the Add button up here. Now, we’re gonna give this a name, again, that is easily recognisable and something that we can tie it to pretty easily. So we’re gonna call this Credits
Open Gym & Sessions Membership. How would we describe this to our customers? So, we’re going to give this a brief description here. Provides open gym access, and also access to all sessions throughout the month. So we’ve got a brief description there of what it is, and what this credit pack and membership actually offers to our members.
So, what type of membership is this? It’s a standard membership. And when do we want this to commence? We want this to commence immediately upon purchase. We’ve got a few options here as well, upon first booking, first of next month, or on a specified date. For the example of this demo, I’m going to be going with immediate.
We’ve got four options underneath here. We’ve got provides unlimited session access. With ticking this box, we do say to be very careful ’cause this will then, of course, give whoever has this membership unlimited session access. So, for the example of this demo we’re gonna leave that unticked. Now, you can limit this to one per member if you don’t wish for them to be able to purchase multiple memberships of this type. Do you want this to be a trial membership, or do you want this to be private? If you’re to mark this private, no one will be able to see this membership and purchase it. It will then only become visible when you say so.
So for this demo, we’re gonna leave these unticked, and we’re just gonna press Save. Now, as we can see up here, we’ve got some new tabs up here. We’ve got payment plans and we’ve got deliverables. I’m gonna select Payment Plans, and we’re gonna look to build out a payment plan first for the membership I’m gonna select Add.
Now, what would we like this monthly payment plan to be called? I want this payment plan to occur on the first of every month, and I want this to be a monthly payment. So I’m gonna call this Monthly first each month. How would we describe this to our customers?
So, again, a brief description of what it is. So we’re gonna put Monthly payment plan. Payments occur first of each month. So, we can build out our subscription issue period here. So we want this to be a period length of one. And our period, we’re doing months. We’ve got an option of days, weeks, and months, but for this example, we’re gonna select Months. So we’re gonna have this occur every one month, twelve times so that this occurs for a year.
Do we want to include a joining fee? In this example, I’m gonna put a joining fee of zero. And because I’ve got zero for my joining fee, my tax is gonna be zero as well. And now we can set the recurring fee.
So, how much do we want this to cost each month? I’m gonna put a cost in of pounds, and we’re gonna put our tax in as well at . Now, how often do we want the recurring payment to be taken? So this pound fee, how frequently do we want that to be taken from the member? As we’ve said up here, it’s going to be monthly on the first of each month.
So I’m gonna select Monthly, and it’s gonna recur every one month on or close to the payment anniversary or recur every one month on the first day of each month. As you can see here, if you select Monthly, you’ve got some options you can choose from.
You can have this recur every one month on or close to the payment anniversary. Or you can have this recur every one month on a certain day of each month. You can see this is editable here. You can just input the number if you wish to do so.
I’m gonna keep that to the first. Or you can have this recur every one month on the first occurrence of, and you can select certain dates here. This doesn’t just have to be on the first occurrence, you can have it on the second, third, fourth, or last occurrence in the month. You get these options as well when you select weekly, daily, or if you wanted this to recur once. But for the example of this demo, we’re gonna keep this to recur every one month on the first day of each month.
We’ve got two options at the bottom here. We’ve got the auto-renew at expiry. So by ticking this box, what this means is once this recurring fee has been taken times, it will begin again for another months, and that will ensure that that membership continues ongoing for that member.
Again, you have the option to mark this private, giving you options around the visibility of the membership and the pack that you are selling with that membership. But if we press Save here, what we do is we’ve now got our deliverables tab, and this is gonna be where we include our credit pack. So if we select Add Credit Pack, and then from our dropdown.
Now, because we’ve named this something that is easily recognisable to us, we know it’s our Credits Credit Pack Open Gym & Sessions. And if we tick that there, that credit pack is now tied in with that membership. So whenever someone goes to purchase that membership, they’ll also get the credit pack as well.
