So in this video, we’re looking at our 12 month overview reports and we’re now up to Revenue By Type And By Month.
If you haven’t watched through the course fully, there’s a few videos previous on the reports that are above this in the 12 month overview and a brief introduction as well so go ahead and check that out. But we’re gonna stick to this report.
So I’m really not gonna teach you to suck eggs here, it’s quite a straight forward report. The information that’s being pulled and what you can see is quite basic in terms of being able to understand it. There’s not really any terminology that you’ll need me to explain to you, but as a quick overview, as always, we have the description, which is a month by month analysis of revenue by revenue type.
And essentially what we’ve done is broken down those revenue types into different streams that you would receive revenue for your facility and what you’d be tracking through Quoox.
So we’ve got our memberships; the credits; how much you’re making per month per session; any store purchases if you’re using that; refunds as well: So what have you had to pay back; and then totals essentially for that month.
So we’ve broken it down from the month that you’re starting in, and gone a year back. So that would change depending on where you are at in the year, obviously. And then we can just basically see each month what we’re making from each different revenue stream.
So this might be particularly useful if you wanna look at particular memberships and see if there’s a fluctuation decrease or increase in specific months: Maybe you need to do more outreach; get more people registered and signed up; completely up to you how you want to use this information as I’ve made clear before.
But you might see like in September 2021 there was quite a big peak in terms of revenue coming in from credits where we’re selling credit packs as a business, did that work? You know, you can really start to break down some information that you’re receiving from these reports.
And then of course, you’ve got your totals at the bottom as well. So you can see from the year’s total for all of the months that are listed in that report.
The other side of this, you have a chart so a more visual representation of the information in that report.
Completely up to you if you wanna use it or not. But as always, you can click on different options. I call them options. They’re not really are they! You can click on different revenue streams that are within the report and if you wanna remove them see you basically focusing on just the memberships, you can get a clear review of what that looks like.
And don’t forget at the top of the page, you can download the full 12 Month Overview and that will include that report for you.
