Hi, welcome to Quoox University.
In this video, we’re gonna cover off a new release from October, 2021, and we’re gonna look at the new membership pay as you go price that you can attribute to a credit cost.
So we’re going to go to the main menu and go into settings.
Then we’re gonna go to sessions and events, and then we’re gonna click into any session so I can show you what this looks like.
So, under credit costs or next to credit cost, you’ll be used to seeing purchase cost and then tax included. This is now called a pay as you go cost, and we’ve added an extra box called the membership pay as you go cost.
So the way this works is if your pay as you go cost was £50, the system, when this is released or has been released on the 30th of October, will automatically pull through the same cost into membership pay as you go cost. Now this is done by design, because if you don’t necessarily want to give your members with memberships discount, that’s fine. They’ll always just see the same pay as you go cost.
But if you do the way this will work is the pay as you go cost is for members in your system that don’t have a membership on their account, okay. Pay as you go members. They need a membership to be able to log into the fitness hub and obviously pay for their credits and things like that and book sessions, but that is the price that they’ll see.
The (active) membership pay as you go cost works in the sense that anyone with a membership attached to their account or their member profile will see the membership pay as you go cost. So let’s say, actually, I’m going to make the membership pay as you go cost £40, so they get a £10 discount and only people with a membership on their account will be able to see that.
If they’re a pay as you go member, they won’t, but they’ll never see the difference. They’ll only ever see the pay as you go cost that’s relevant to them, either when purchasing an additional credit through the app for the session or whenever it might pop up for them basically.
So that’s how the new release works. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch, otherwise, check out my other videos, at support.Quoox.com, we’ll see you then.
