In this video, we’re gonna look at our Halloween 2021 release, changes to the credit structure or how you view the credits under a member’s profile and also how you can distribute them from there.
So let’s go to a member. We’re gonna go into manage members and we’ll have a look at Marge. So we go straight to the memberships tab and we’re gonna scroll down to credits.
Now, if you’re a new member, this will look as it always has to, which is great. And welcome. If you are a existing member prior to this release, you’ll know that the view looked a little bit different in that it had drop downs, to be able to see what was happening in each credit pack and how many credits were attributed and what sessions they booked for example. So what we’ve done is we’ve made this much clearer.
So now you have a different sort of section for each membership and the credits, and then you have an ad hoc section. For any manually added credits.
Now, if we take a look at each box, what we’ll see is the darker grey box is the credits that are with their credit pack and membership. And the white box is their grace credits basically, you can see the valid from, and to dates as you could before, and you can see what session types they are valid for and what venue as well.
Now you can also use the edit credit button and you can amend these should you wish, it’s worth noting that any amendments you make here is only relevant for the member that you are amending them under. It doesn’t change the full credit pack, so be clear on that. So if you wanted to make it only valid for certain sessions, if it wasn’t valid for all, for example, or maybe you need to extend the expiry date as a good will gesture, or even give them extra credits, you can do that from here.
The other thing you can also see as well, in a separate pop-up box, if you click on the question mark icon, you can view their credit usage. So within here, you get a breakdown of how they’ve used the credits, the dates and time, the session detail. And you can also see who it was booked by. You could also get more detail if you’re in another member of who it was cancelled by, any changes made by.
So if a customer ever queries anything, or even if another staff member queries anything, you don’t need to come to us to find out what’s happened, you can actually see it in the credit usage breakdown, who’s made those changes. So it’s really, really clear.
The other thing that you have in view is a sort of striped out, greyed out box. This is essentially any credits that have expired or been used up, there’ll be there for a few weeks. So you can see that if anything happened with those, you can revisit it. But basically you can see that they expired last month. They’ve had their new credits issued the same day or thereafter, if these are ad hoc ones, they might’ve been added at any time, but when these ones run out, for example, on the 22nd, the 11th they’ll look at these ones on the bottom, and then you’ll be able to see the new credit packs and they’ll just show up in a line.
All right, so you can add the ad hoc credits as always with the ad credits button, and that will come under the ad hoc credits section in the member’s profile.
