Hi, welcome to Quoox University.
In this video, we’re gonna look at how you create a Marketing session.
So let’s start by heading over to the Quoox dashboard at my.quoox.com. We’re gonna log in. Lovely.
Now, if you haven’t already and you’re new to Quoox, please go ahead and watch my “Creating A Session” video. That will give you all the information on all the other session types that you can create. And essentially a step-by-step guide on how to do that.
If you’ve done all of that, stick with me here, and we’re essentially following the same process, but there’s a few different things that’s worth being aware of.
So we’d go to the main menu and we would click into settings.
And then we’d go into sessions and events.
Chapter 1: Different Session Types
So as you’ll see here from the classification, you can see what type of session you’ve created from your listing.
So there may be Standard sessions, which is normally what you’d create for a class for example.
You have Courses that are for something that may be a bit longer. So maybe like it’s an eight-week challenge or a boot camp that’s over a weekend for example.
Chapter 2: Marketing Session Creation
And then you have Consultation and Marketing.
So we’re gonna do marketing today.
So we’re gonna click Add a Session.
And from the dropdown, select Marketing.
And then we’re gonna give this a name and essentially, you’d be aware of, or familiar with these details because you’ll have created your own sessions and schedules previously.
But let’s say for marketing, it’s a taster session. And it’s a one-hour taster session for prospective new members (I know how much you guys love watching me and typing along!).
You can, as always, upload your own photograph here to help your customers visualise. So maybe it’s a group photo of previous taster sessions or whatever. It’s up to you. It depends on how many people you have in one, really.
Then you can select how long the event is for.
You can assign a highlight colour. This is probably not relevant because it’s worth remembering that leads that will book into this don’t function the same as members. So leads that would be booking into a taster session to see what the gym’s like won’t have access to the app.
So this will never show in the schedule for your members. Remember that!
And then if there is a purchase cost for any reason, you can add that here.
So I’m feeling nice. I’m not gonna give them a purchase cost. I’m gonna give it to them for free. And then you can click on Save.
Chapter 3: Creating A Regular Trial Session
Now by doing it this way and creating it as we would a normal session, this allows us to create a schedule.
So you might wanna do this if and when you have a regular taster session, hourly slot, for example.
So maybe you do one or two different slots a day and people can then select that through your campaign that you might’ve created through Quoox. Go and watch my “How To Create A Campaign For Leads” if you haven’t already. And then you see how they link up.
But let’s call this taster session, Sundays.
And then what we can do is select the venue. So this is gonna be for Norwich.
It’s gonna be in zone one.
And my capacity is maybe, well, I’m gonna say one. I wanna have it for one person. But if you wanted to do an hour’s taster session where you do regular classes or it’s quite a… It’s a group gym facility where you all do a class together, it might be 10 people.
If your taster sessions are always run by the same person, so mine’s gonna be Justin Credible, ’cause it’s just incredible! Then you can select that if you don’t have a specific person that runs it every Sunday, then you can leave it as unallocated, okay.
Then you can select how often the session will occur.
So, guys, I might sound like I’m repeating myself. If you’ve recently watched the “Creating A Session”, but for those that aren’t sure or forgot, keep going. So we’re gonna do this weekly, every Sunday, and it’s gonna happen every one week. And we’re gonna do it at 10 o’clock. We’re feeling nice. Give people a lay-in on a Sunday!
Then what you can do is you can set the first occurrence as well.
So if this is something that’s gonna start from next week, for example, then you can select that date. But it’s completely up to you. If it’s a limited time taster session, you can put a last occurrence in as well. But otherwise just leave it open.
And again, if there’s a purchase cost, you can add that within the schedule there as well. And I’m gonna click Save.
Chapter 4: Creating AN AD Hoc Marketing Session
So what we’ve just done is created a marketing session. I’m gonna show you very quickly how you can do that through an ad hoc process as well.
So we’re gonna go back to our main menu and we’re gonna go into Schedule. And this shows us our schedule for recurring appointments or recurring sessions, I should say, that we’ve created in that same format.
So you’ve got your sessions here. There’s a trial taster session here, small group training.
So let’s say we go into Sunday, the 24th and we’ve got our 10:00 a.m. taster session. But actually someone or a few people have requested that there’s one in the afternoon.
You can right-click on the time.
Click on New ad-hoc session.
You can select the session type. So we can see here that we’ve got some created and I can add my taster session there.
I can select which venue it’s for and I can select the date and time because that’s already been selected for me.
And again, if it’s someone specific running it or leave it unallocated, you can click Next.
You can change the details here if you wish. So it… If it’s more than 10 on next Sunday, it could be 15. And you can add any notes here requested by many leads.
And if there’s a wait list, you can add that here as well.
Then you can select to finish and book.
And you’ll see that you’ve now got your appointment details for said taster session. And this will be managed in the same way. So when people have booked on, you’ll see your list of attendees.
So that is two different ways that you can create a marketing session. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch or check out my other videos on creating a session and creating a campaign for marketing leads on the knowledge base at support.quoox.com.
