Hi, welcome to Quoox University.
In this video, I’m gonna show you how you can quickly and efficiently share information or notices with your staff members.
So let’s start by going to my.quoox.com and we’ll log in to our main dashboard. Before we go into this, it’s worth noting that if you haven’t already set up your employees, I have another video on how to do that. It’s called “Adding a Staff Member”. So go ahead and watch that video and then come back here and we can talk about how you can let them know all of the nice new notices and information that you need to share with them.
So for those that have already set themselves up and have their employees in the system, what you’ll see as soon as you log into your dashboard is that you actually have a widget readily available on the top of your page, okay. And it’s called Staff Notice Board.
So what you can see here is that you’ve got, currently, no notices that meet either unread or important only. So you’ve got the two options to select.
If you want to filter those notices, you can untick those, and you’ll see that the dashboard is refreshing. You also have the option to select a period of time of which you want to see what notices you have. So it could be the last quarter. It could be the last month, the last seven days, or maybe you only want to look at today.
At the moment, it’s looking pretty quiet. So let’s add ourselves a staff notice.
You have two options here. You’ve got the green button to add a new notice, but next to it, you also have the option to mark all of the notices as read. So there are little buttons available for you so that you can run everything from your dashboard. But as I said, we’re gonna log a new staff notice.
So we can have a title. So let’s say new promo for new members. You can put, “Now first month free, make note for walk-ins,” for example, okay.
You can put that it’s important. Probably is because you want people to know that they shouldn’t be selling any old promotions or a membership as is, you’re trying to entice as many people as possible.
And you also have the option to make it sticky. So, essentially, what that means is you keep it at the top of all your notices. Be quite particular when you use these. If you make every notice sticky, then they’re all gonna try and stay at the top and it defeats the object. So use it when you want to. You probably don’t need it if it’s the only notice, for example, but you can still mark it as important so people know to take a look.
Now you can link it to a specific member, if you want. In this case, it’s not relevant to any specific member because they’re gonna be new people and you can put it for specific venues. So when you’re in your main dashboard, you’ll see the it’s filtered per venue. So at the moment we’re on Chelmsford, but we might actually have this for Chelmsford and Norwich. So I’m gonna select both and I’m gonna click Save.
I hope that’s helped. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch and I’ll speak to you soon.
