January 16 sees the release of three new functions into the Quoox portal, along with some minor updates.
AutoBook™ is a new feature that has been added to the Membership & Credits tab of the member record.
This feature provides a mechanism whereby you can automatically book members onto a given session at the point it is created.
This is especially useful for members who always attend the same 1-on-1 session, or for VIP members to whom you wish to give booking priority.
Closures is a new section with the Quoox customer settings area. Put simply, you can specify venue closures (E.g. Christmas). Quoox will not schedule
any sessions during these closure periods – although existing sessions remain unaffected, and you can still manually create sessions within a closure period.
Scheduled Membership Commencement
When adding a new membership to a member, a new commencement option of ‘On Specified Date’ is now available. With this option you can specify the date upon which
you wish the membership to commence and the first payment to be taken. An optional joining fee is still taken immediately, and grace credits are created as appropriate.
Other changes of note…
Amongst the other routine bug fixes and performance updates, there are a few changes of note:
- Session waitlists are now processed automatically when a member cancels their booking.
Waitlists are still withheld for manual processing when an employee amends session details. This is by design.
- The restriction on cancelling historical sessions or attendees from sessions in the past has been lifted. By design, it remains that you cannot edit historical sessions to ensure system integrity.
- Invoices issued as a result of store purchases will now contain an itemised list of purchased items.
- Injury colours on the torso model have been updated to make them easier to distinguish on some screens.
